As expected, the Android 4.4 upgrade process for the Google Nexus 4 is now in full swing in Canada. Not only have we received a number of reports of successful installations. Our own Nexus 4 has also been updated and is happily running KitKat. We can also confirm that the update uses the KRT16S build that Google just released.
It appears that the rollout for the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablets is running slightly behind that of the Nexus 4 despite the fact that it started earlier. Hopefully it won’t be much longer before it starts to land our devices in greater numbers.
Drop us a note below and let us know which of your devices have been updated.
Update (11/22/2013): Good news for Nexus 7 owners. Android 4.4 KitKat is now landing on tablets. As with the Nexus 4, Google is pushing out build KRT16S. Let us know if you’ve got the update or are still madly hitting the ‘Check Now” button.
