The oft-rumoured Android 4.3 version of Android Jelly Bean has resurfaced. SamMobile has obtained a new firmware for the Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505G) which went on sale earlier this week. This latest firmware is based on Android 4.3 and sports a build date of June 26th, 2013 and build ID JWR66N.
A gallery of screenshots reveal that very little has changed from Android 4.2.2. It’s likely that this is more of a maintenance release. It remains to be seen if it will include any new features. Here are a few of them but be sure to check out SamMobile for more:
The firmware has also been ported over to the European version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505).
If you decide to flash one of these ROMs, be sure to heed all the warnings or you could end up with a bricked Galaxy S4.
Google has yet to announce Android 4.3 and it remains unclear when Google will finally unveil it.
