16GB Google Nexus 7 (2013) now available in Canada

As expected, the Google Nexus 7 is now available in Canada. That’s the good news. As for the bad news, it looks like only the 16GB version is available and only through certain retailers:

  • Best Buy: Backordered online but available in some retail locations
  • Future Shop: Backordered online but available in some retail locations
  • Staples: Available online and in some retail locations

Google Play still does not yet list the new Nexus 7 and the retailers above are only carrying the 16GB version at this time for CA$249.99.

  1. Bought the latest Google Nexus 7 @ Staples Leaside in Toronto for $249.00 on July 30, 2013 @ 4:30pm and it automatically downloaded Android OS update from Google. It looks great & slick but no time to use it much so far.
