ZTE today unveiled its ZTE Nubia Z5 flagship smartphone in Beijing, China. It is the company’s first to come with a 1080p display. It is slightly thinner than the Oppo Find 5, another 5-inch 1080p display smartphone recently announced.

The ZTE Nubia Z5 will sell for ¥3,456 (about CA$550). It is currently available only in China. It may be unveiled in other markets as the ZTE Grand S which ZTE will announce at CES 2013 (where we can expect a few 1080p smartphone announcements).
