While much of Nokia’s attention is likely focused on the event tomorrow where it is expected to announce the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, it is also already at work on other Windows Phone 8 devices. Among these is the Nokia Zeal according to The Verge sources “familiar with Nokia’s Windows Phone plans.” It is expected to be a mid-range device.
The Nokia Zeal will come with a 1.0GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch display, 512MB RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot. The report adds that it will have a “Zune-like” unibody design.
The Nokia Zeal could be out in early 2013 and is not likely to be announced tomorrow.
