It would appear that some exciting devices are in store at Verizon later this year. BGR has allegedly obtained the carrier’s smartphone roadmap for the summer and fall seasons.
While Verizon passed on the Samsung Galaxy S II, it does plan to offer the upcoming Galaxy S III. No timelines are provided but a summer launch is likely.
Verizon also has a number of new Motorola RAZR devices coming (as new DROIDs?). Details are slim but a successor to the original RAZR, possibly known as the RAZR HD, could sport a larger and clearer display. There are no details on the other RAZRs.
A new flagship HTC device is also in the works. This new device could sport a quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor with Adreno 320 GPU, a 5-inch 1080p HD non-Pentile display, HTC Sense 5 and a Scribe pen. It looks like Huawei is not the only competitor Samsung will have in the phablet space.
