Today’s Windows Phone 8 event to be livestreamed

Google may have had to cancel its Android event due to storm making its way up the eastern seaccoast but there is no such bad news on the west coast. Microsoft will today officially launch Windows Phone 8 at an event in San Fransisco. It promises to show off “some new things from Windows Phone.”

The event will be livestreamed for those who will not be there in person:

Windows Phone 8 will launch with at least five smartphones (Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC, Nokia Lumia 820 and 920, and Samsung ATIV S). Hopefuly the event will provide details such as availability and pricing.
