Sony halted sales of its Xperia Tablet S in early October after discovering a manufacturing flaw, a small gap between the screen and the case, that made the water resistant tablet more susceptible to water damage than it should be. Sony Japan has now confirmed that sales will resume “gradually” in mid-November.
In the meantime, Sony has been offering free checkups and repairs for tablets already in the hands of customers.
