It was only two weeks ago that Sony Electronics president Phil Molyneux promised that Sony was working on a new generation of tablets. One such prototype may just have surfaced on the leaderboard of the Android benchmarking tool NenaMark. A single result shows a test for a device identified as the Sony V150.
The benchmark results reveal that this Sony tablet is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and Android 4.0.3. It also comes with a display offering a WXGA (1280×800) resolution.
There is no word yet on when Sony could unveil its new tablets.
