The Sony Xperia ST21i (Tapioca) has been the topic of a number of rumours already. Its official name has now been revealed by Postel, the Indonesian Telecoms Regulatory body’s website. It will be known as the Sony Xperia Tipo.

Past rumours have given us specifications and pictures for the Xperia Tipo, identifying it as an entry-level device powered by a 800MHz single-core processor and Google Android 4.0.
A second model, the Sony Xperia Tipo Dual, appears to be a dual-SIM variant. It was previously identified as the ST23i but Postel lists it as the ST21i2.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing.
Postel already revealed the names of the Sony Xperia P and Xperia U earlier this year.
