While a fresh crop of smartphones will be announced and unveiled at next week’s Mobile World Congress, companies are already working on the innovations that will define the next generation(s) of devices. According to a report by the Korean language Maeil Business newspaper, one of those could be an almost bezel-free smartphone courtesy of Samsung.
Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy B, the smartphone would feature a large display and no bezel except for one at the top for the earpiece and front-facing camera. The company has apparently working on this device for some time and is now aiming to have it out either in Q2 or Q3 this year.
There is no word (yet) on what other specifications the Samsung Galaxy B could have.
Samsung has in the past also promised to offer flexible OLED displays on some handsets in 2012.
