Samsung may have lost its U.S. patent lawsuit with Apple but it remains unbowed. After a series of video ads clearly aimed at Apple fans and their near fanatical devotion to the brand, the manufacturer has now taken aim at Apple’s latest smartphone. With the tag line “It doesn’t take a genius” it compares Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S III to the iPhone 5 and unsurprisingly finds the latter lacking.
Needless to say, the ad is skewed towards the Galaxy S III, touting pretty much all of its features (such as S Beam or Share Shot) but omitting to list iPhone 5 features (such as AirPlay). Samsung also takes a shot at the new Lightning connector, describing it as “a totally different plug.”
It would appear that relations between the two companies will not be warming up any time soon…
