Conflicting rumours have suggested that Samsung will or will not launch the much anticipated Galaxy S III at next month’s Mobile World Congress. The question came up yesterday during the analyst call that followed its financial results announcement.
A Samsung Marketing VP, Mrs. Younghee Lee, would only confirm that the company is “still reviewing” a number of options and has not made a final decision on the launch. An audio clip of the question and her answer is below:
The latest rumours suggest that Samsung will launch its Galaxy S III in the U.S. market this summer. To reduce the time between announcement and launch, the company could push out the expected MWC announcement to sometime later.
