Samsung today announced the U.S. launch of its Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet. It also announced today that it has now sold over 10 million Galaxy Note devices across the world. It was only in June that it announced sales of 7 million Notes.
This is quite the achievement considering that many were unsure how this smartphone-tablet hybrid device would be received by global markets. Samsung will unveil a successor, the Galaxy Note 2, at its next Unpacked event on August 29th.
Samsung hit a similar milestone, albeit significantly faster, last month with its Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone.
