Samsung is reportedly delaying the launch of its Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) tablets. The global deployment was set to start in the UK in March but has now been pushed back to the end of April.
A Samsung spokesperson explained that the delay was due to Samsung needing more time to get Android 4.0 working on its tablets. Further details were not given and it’s not clear if the challenges are with Android itself or with Samsung’s TouchWiz interface overlay.
It’s not the first time that Android 4.0 has challenged Samsung. It recently also delayed the Android 4.0 update for its Galaxy Note phablet.
