The Samsung Galaxy S III may be coming sooner than earlier rumours suggested. ZDNet Korea today reports that the launch will take place in April. The timeframe allegedly comes from none other than Cheil Worldwide, Samsung’s marketing and advertising agency.
One of the first markets to launch would be the UK where Samsung is apparently planning a large marketing campaign based on the Olympic Games (taking place in London). Other rumours have indicated that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S III simultaneously in some 50 markets, suggesting that a North American launch could happen in the same timeframe.
The Samsung Galaxy S III is rumoured to be powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor and Google Android 4.0. It is also expected to come with LTE connectivity, a 4.8-inch “full HD” 1080p display and a ceramic case.
