Will the Samsung Galaxy S III come with a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD, a 4.8-inch 1080p one or a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display? Then again, it could be a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED III SXGA one? Another option has now surfaced courtesy of a Korean DDaily report.
The latest rumour suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S III will come with a 4.65-inch 720p Super AMOLED Plus display. Samsung Mobile Display (SMD) has apparently begun production of the display, its first non-Pentile OLED panel to offer HD resolution. The screen will offer an impressive 316ppi, only slightly less than the iPhone offers on its smaller 3.5-inch display.
Further suggesting that Samsung’s Galaxy S III must be getting closer, a separate report by the Korean AsiaE adds that Korean carriers have begun testing it. Samsung is apparently hoping for a worldwide launch in either May or June.
