It only took Samsung 37 days to sell its first 3 million Samsung Galaxy Note IIs. Now barely two months after going on sale, it appears that sales of Samsung’s latest phablet have now topped 5 million units.
The numbers come from SammyHub rather than Samsung directly. You can be sure that Samsung will announce its latest milestone shortly if the numbers are in fact accurate.
Much as we have seen with the Galaxy S III, sales of the Galaxy Note II are eclipsing those of its predecessor. It took the original Galaxy Note five months to top the same milestone. It has now sold in excess of 10 million units.
In Canada, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is available from Bell Mobility, Mobilicity, Rogers, SaskTel, TELUS, Vidéotron, and WIND Mobile.
Update: As expected, Samsung today confirmed that it has surpassed the 5 million sales mark for its Galaxy Note II.
