Samsung Galaxy Note II and ATIV S coming to Canada “in the coming months”

After Samsung’s UNPACKED 2012 event where it unveiled the new Samsung Galaxy Note II and introduced the ATIV family of Microsoft-powered devices, Samsung Canada provided the following statement about the Canadian availability of these new products:

“We are excited to support the Global announcement of the Samsung GALAXY Note 2, ATIV – Windows Phone 8 operating system devices and GALAXY Camera. Samsung Mobile is committed to providing unique and an intuitive user experience that goes beyond passive content consumption to a new world of productivity, active creation and personalized communications. We look forward to sharing product timing and Canadian availability details in the coming months.”

The statement covers both the Galaxy Note II and the Windows Phone 8-powered ATIV S but makes no mention of the Windows 8 ATIV devices (such as the ATIV Tab). Hopefully these will be announced a bit later.
