Good news today for those hoping to get their Samsung Galaxy S III with a full 64GB of onboard memory. The company today dispelled rumours that it had cancelled this version. It provided the following statement to The Verge:
“The 64GB model of the GALAXY S III will be available during the second half of this year. The market availability and timing may vary and will be determined at the time of release.”
Samsung added that the device was only announced internationally, suggesting that a North American variant with LTE connectivity and 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 may not be in the cards.
If you want one, you will have to take the international version or bug your carrier until they cave to your demand…
