The latest Samsung Galaxy Note 2 rumours have pushed its launch back to October. According to a MK News source “familiar with the matter,” Samsung will announce its latest “phablet” in August at the IFA 2012 trade show in Berlin. The device will then launch in October.
The report adds that the Samsung Note 2 will not come with an unbreakable plane (UBP) display as previously rumoured but that the technology will make its way onto future devices. Samsung appears to have settled on a 5.5-inch display but may still upgrade the camera to a 12 or 13MP one (rather than a 8MP one). A quad-core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean also appear in the cards now.
