Right on schedule, Rovio, the creators of the hugely successful Angry Birds games, has launched its first game that does not require flinging birds at pigs. Amazing Alex is a puzzle game where players use 35 fully interactive objects that can bounce, pop, ricochet, bash, and crash into each other to create elaborate Rube Goldberg devices.
“We’re so excited for our fans to meet Amazing Alex,” said EVP of Games, Petri Järvilehto. “We’ve taken out time polishing a fantastic game and believe we’re created something fun and accessible for all ages. We’ve had a lot of fun with the game, and we can’t wait to see what our fans come up with!”
It comes 100 challenging levels across four fun-filled locations. Players will also be able to create and share their own levels, either with friends or with the whole world.
Amazing Alex is now available for Android and iOS devices. It ranges in price from free (ad-supported) to US$2.99 for the HD version.
Versions for Windows Phone, Mac and PC are coming soon.
