If an official launch event was not enough of a sign that BlackBerry 10 devices will soon be available, here is another: Carriers are getting ready for the launch. First out of the gate is Rogers Wireless with an announcement that it began today to take online reservations for the upcoming BlackBerry 10 all-touch device (also known as the BlackBerry L-Series). According to an email we received today:
“Rogers was the first carrier in Canada to launch BlackBerry and first in Canada to launch an LTE Network so we’re thrilled to let you know that as of today, Rogers customers can be amongst the first in the world to reserve the BlackBerry 10 all-touch device online at www.rogers.com/reserve. Full details about BlackBerry 10 including, pricing, availability and specifications, will be announced in early 2013. For more information, visit: www.blackberry.com/BlackBerry10.”
With RIM officially launching its BlackBerry 10 devices on January 30th, all, including availability and pricing, should be revealed just over six weeks from now. For now, you can put your name next to one of these through the Rogers Reservation System. A refundable CA$40 fee will be applied for each reservation. This fee is reversed when your device ships or if you cancel before shipment.
