When Nokia first unveiled its Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 Windows Phone 8 handsets, it did not provide availability and pricing information. These details were revealed today as a number of Nokia European subsidiaries today announced both devices will be available starting in mid-November.
Nokia Germany has the Lumia 920 priced at €649 (about CA$820) and the Lumia 820 at €499 (about CA$630). Italy will offer the Lumia 920 for a bit less (€599 or CA$760). Nokia Russia for its part has begun to take pre-orders for both with the Lumia 920 priced at 24,990 rubles and the Lumia 820 (CA$788) at 19,990 rubles (CA$630). Pricing in both Germany and Italy includes VAT. Taking that out, pricing falls closer to the CA$650 and CA$500 mark for the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 respectively.
Bloomberg reports that the launch will take place on November 12th in Italy. Other countries are likely to launch around the same date.
