While much attention has been paid to Nokia’s upcoming Windows Phone launch in the U.S., the company is also planning to launch in Canada. A number of devices have been promised but so far there have been no details on what these could be.
MobileSyrup has now learned that Nokia is planning to launch with at least two devices. The Lumia 710 will be the first Nokia Windows Phone device to launch in Canada. It will be followed later by the still-unannounced Lumia 900.
While launch details are still vague, it appears likely that the Lumia 710 is headed to Rogers Wireless with Bell and TELUS also possibilities. There are no pricing details yet but the Lumia 710 will launch with T-Mobile USA on January 11th for US$49.99 with a two-year contract. It is possible that we will see similar pricing (albeit with a three-year contract instead).
