Motorola and Verizon are hosting an event on September 5th to introduce a new smartphone. If details obtained by Engadget turn out to be accurate, the device to be unveiled will be the Motorola Droid RAZR M 4G LTE.

Anyone else think that the name is quite a mouthful? Motorola and Verizon would likely have stuck an HD in there somewhere if only the display offered a slightly higher resolution!
Details about the price and availability were not revealed. Worse comes to worse, we should learn these on launch day.
