A number of leaks over the past few days have begun to paint a fairly good picture of the next DROID RAZR device. From benchmark results to leaked pictures, quite a bit is now known about the upcoming DROID RAZR HD. Could the DROID Figher than DROID RAZR HD be one and the same device? A number of details seem to suggest so.
A picture show the back of the RAZR HD sporting a Kevlar panel like the RAZR. It has lost the RAZR hump though likely because of a larger battery (possibly as large as 3,300mAh like that of the RAZR MAXX). Another picture shows microUSB and microHDMI ports on the lower portion of the side rather than higher as was done with previous models.
The NenaMark2 benchmark site suggests that the DROID RAZR HD will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 and Adreno 225 GPU and Android 4.0.4. A display with a resolution of 1196×720 (a 720p display with onscreen buttons?) appears to be in the cards. LTE connectivity, a 13MP camera, and the aforementioned Kevlar back plate are also on tap.
Rumours point to the DROID RAZR HD launch taking place in August. A summer or fall release was hinted at by an earlier roadmap leak.
