More details today emerged about the HTC M7, the rumoured next flagship device from HTC. According to @evleaks, HTC will unveil the device at MWC in late February, a year after the debut of the HTC One X at the same event.
The report adds that the HTC M7 will come with a 4.7-inch Full HD (1920×1080) SoLux display that promises better viewing angles, outdoor visibility and colour accuracy than current generation Super LCD2 displays. Other specifications include:
- Processor: Second-generation 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon
- Operating system: Google Android Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5
- Cellular connectivity: LTE
- Other connectivity: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi
- Input: Capacitive touchscreen
- Memory: 2GB RAM
- Storage: 32GB onboard
- Rear-facing camera: 13MP with f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video capture
- Front-facing camera: 2MP with 1080p video capture
- Battery: 2,300mAh
The HTC M7 could launch with at least two U.S. carriers, Sprint and Verizon, and could end up at all four top carriers a bit later. If so, it is likely to also land on at least a few Canadian carriers.
