There is more evidence today that HTC will name its Windows Phone 8-powered HTC Accord as the HTC Windows Phone 8X (that just rolls off the tongue). Two new tweets from @Football4PDA, an XDA-developers member, provide a new image of the device and specification details. The first also confirms the device name.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and Windows Phone 8. It will come with a 4.3-inch display, 1GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, a microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi, Blueooth, NFC, an 8MP rear camera with a f/2.0 lens and 1080p video capture, and a front-facing camera also capable of 1080p video capture. The specs also confirm the presence of Beats Audio as previous rumours suggested.
HTC is holding a press event on September 19th. Its Windows Phone 8 plans should hopefully be confirmed then.
