Mobilicity today launched the Samsung Galaxy S 4G along with updated data plans. The Galaxy S 4G was quite the device when it came out nearly two years ago and remains a decent entry-level smartphone today.

Mobilicity is offering the Samsung Galaxy S 4G for the introductory price of CA$299.99 “while supplies last” after which it will raise the price to CA$349.99.
Mobilicity today also unveiled updated rates, promising “over 30% more value.” Key changes include the following:
- CA$25 Unlimited Starter plan includes unlimited province-wide long distance and advanced calling features
- CA$35 Unlimited Plus plan includes unlimited Canada-wide long distance, global text, light data (email with social networking or BlackBerry Messenger) and 15 minutes of voice roaming
- CA$45 Unlimited Value plan includes unlimited data and 30 minutes of voice roaming
- CA$55 Unlimited Everything plan includes free phone protection and 60 minutes of voice roaming
