MADD Canada (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) today announced that it has gone mobile with the availability of its mobile optimized website. The new site works with iPhones as well as BlackBerry and Android smartphones (and presumably Windows Phone and other mobile operating systems).
“Canadians are accessing our information with a greater frequency using their mobile devices and in response we have provided the information that means the most to them in the mobile context,” said MADD Canada National President Denise Dubyk. “This mobile information includes making donations, finding chapter locations based on your current location and MADD Canada’s latest statistics and reports.”
The launch of the mobile website coincides with the 25th anniversary of MADD Canada’s Project Red Ribbon campaign which raises awareness about the need for sober driving throughout the busy holiday season.
