A report by the Korean DDaily has revealed that LG is working on a new flagship smartphone to take on the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III. The device is codenamed D1L and could be announced as early as next month.
The report adds that the D1L will come with a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset, a 4.7-inch HD (1280×720) display and LTE connectivity. It is also slated to be LG’s first to ship with Android 4.0 onboard.
The LG D1L is likely to be released under the Optimus brand name.
