The LG Optimus G2, likely the successor to the still new LG Optimus G [product information] may be in line for a larger display than first reported. Rather than a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) LCD display, it could sport a larger 5.5-inch Full HD one.
There is no word on additional specification details. A past report indicated that the Optimus G2 would come with a 2.0GHz quad-core MSM8974 Snapdragon S4 Prime processor, Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie (which as yet to be formally announced), LTE connectivity, and a camera with backlight prevention technology.
According to the Asia Economic report, the Optimus G2 will be launched within the first half of 2013 to take on the Samsung Galaxy S IV.
