LG’s latest flagship smartphone, the LG Optimus G, is now available in Canada. It comes with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4.7-inch WXGA (1280×800) IPS+ display, 2GB RAM, and an 8MP rear-facing camera.
Four carriers will offer it:
- Bell: From CA$129.99 with a three-year contract to CA$649.95 with no contract
- Rogers: From CA$129.99 with a three-year contract to CA$599.99 with no contract
- SaskTel: Coming soon
- TELUS: From CA$129 with a three-year contract to CA$650 with no contract
Rogers will offer a slightly different version with support for the 2600MHz LTE band. It will offer LTE download speeds that could reach up to 100Mbps.
