A leaked ad agency document has revealed images of what BlackBerry 10 could look like. It looks like the user experience has been influenced by both Android and Windows Phone.
The new images reveal that BlackBerry 10 will feature homescreen widgets capable of displaying live data. The icon tray has also been revamped with a folder icon that shows the apps it contains.
Another image shows a unified inbox, a feature coming to BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 this month.
If all this turns out to be accurate, it certainly bodes well for RIM’s new BlackBerry 10 devices. At the very least, it could bring RIM back to parity with competing operating systems.
The new images follow one of the BlackBerry London that surfaced a couple of weeks ago. It showed a much streamlined device over previous images.
The first BlackBerry 10 smartphone is expected later this year, perhaps in September or October.
