Citing the Chinese-language Commercial Times, a report by Digitimes suggests that HTC will unveil new flagship smartphones at MWC in February. These are to sport quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processors and LTE-enabled Qualcomm MSM 8906 chipsets. The report does not identify specific devices but they could be the HTC Elite and HTC Edge. Or perhaps the HTC Zeta?
If HTC is able to get these quad-core smartphones to market by April, it may have as much as a two-month lead over its competitors according to JPMorgan Chase analyst Alvin Kwok.
Older rumours have already suggested that HTC will unveil both a quad-core smartphone and tablet (HTC Quattro?) at the event.
