Along with today’s HTC One X+ announcement, HTC also confirmed that it will begin pushing out Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrades for the HTC One X and One S this month:
The Android Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 4+ update is scheduled to begin rolling out for the HTC One S and HTC One X from October.
The latest version of HTC’s Sense UI overlay adds a number of features including a Self Portrait mode that works with the front-facing camera, an updated version of HTC Watch, and new Gallery app views.
HTC did not provide specific timelines as to when users will see the upgrade notification pop up on their devices. Carrier certifications may also delay deployments a bit. We’ll let you know when various Canadian carriers start pushing out updates for the devices that they carry.
