The HTC DIx has been the topic of rumours for a while. Known also as the HTC 6435LVW and the HTC DLX, it has resurfaced again today. @Football4PDA, who has a pretty good track record, today tweeted about its specifications (and calling it the DLX). We can expect the following:
- Processor: 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro
- Operating system: Google Android 4.1.2
- Display: 5-inch Full HD
- Memory: 1.5GB RAM
- Storage: 16GB ROM
- Rear-facing camera: 12MP
- Front-facing camera: 2MP
- Battery: Non-removable 2,500mAh
These latest specifications line up nicely with those of earlier rumours.
The HTC DIx appears headed to Verizon as the DROID Incredible X. It also appears that HTC could release variants as the HTC One X5 and a Nexus variant called the Google Nexus 5.
There is no word yet on availability and pricing.
Update: A tweet from @evleaks about the HTC DLX also popped up today with very similar details. We’ve updated the specs above with a few new details like the presence of NFC. Is an announcement in the air?
