It’s turning out to be quite the day for new devices hitting Canadian carriers. The HTC One X and Nokia Lumia 610 landed at TELUS and now the HTC Desire C is available from both SaskTel and Virgin Mobile Canada. It is an entry-level Android 4.0 smartphone aimed at those getting their “first smartphone or for those upgrading from an existing one.”
SaskTel is offering the HTC Desire C for free with a three-year contract, CA$49.99 with a two-year voice and data contract, CA$74.99 with a one-year voice and data contract, or CA$99.99 on its prepaid plan. Virgin Mobile Canada is offering it for free with the Virgin Mobile SuperTab or a three-year contract or CA$149.99 without any contract.
The HTC Desire C is also coming soon to both Fido and Rogers but no availability dates were announced.
