Google added a Jelly Bean Sandwich statue to its front lawn last week to announce the launch of its latest Android release. According to a Google+ post by Android engineer Dan Morrill, a hot spell has not been kind to the statue causing its head to partially melt and pop off.
To add insult to injury, someone apparently stole one of the jelly beans, prompting Morill to ask, “People: please don’t steal out jelly beans.”
The Google Jelly Bean statue is now cordoned off and is awaiting “a bug fix” from the designer.
Let’s hope that this is not an omen of some kind…
