Right on schedule, Fido, SaskTel and TELUS have launched the Galaxy Nexus. They join Bell and Virgin Mobile which have had an exclusive for the last month or so in offering the first smartphone to run Android 4.0.
“Samsung and Google have collaborated once again to push the mobile experience forward delivering the best Android smartphone experience with GALAXY Nexus,” said Paul Brannen, vice president Samsung Mobile Canada. “GALAXY Nexus showcases the power behind Ice Cream Sandwich and brings an entirely new look and feel to Android while demonstrating continued innovation with user friendly features like Android Beam and Face Unlock.”

TELUS’ CA$99.99 pricing with a three-year contract is for a limited time only (February 13th to February 26th and with a CA$50 or more per month plan). After that, it will go up to CA$299.99 (according to their website but more likely to be CA$159.99 to line up with pricing from other carriers).
The Galaxy Nexus is also coming soon to Mobilicity, WIND Mobile and Videotron networks.
