ASUS this week unveiled two new Windows tablet devices at Computex. The ASUS Tablet 810 will run the upcoming Windows 8 and the ASUS Tablet 600 will run Windows RT. Both will bring the concept (if not the brand name) introduced with its Transformer tablets to the Windows world.
ASUS did not reveal all the specifications about its tablets but here is what we know so far:
ASUS Tablet 810 specifications:

- Display: 10.1-inch 1366×768 Super IPS+
- Input: Capacitive touchscreen
- Memory: 2GB RAM
- Storage: 32GB onboard and microSD cards
- Rear-facing camera: 8MP AF with LED flash
- Front-facing camera: 2MP
- Connectors: Micro-HDMI
Like ASUS’s Transformer tablets, both come with an optional Mobile Dock accessory. It transforms the tablets into a compact notebook, complete with a full QWERTY keyboard, multi-touch touchpad, and additional battery. Both also add additional USB ports, one in the case of the 600 and two for the 810.
ASUS did not announce pricing and availability. With Windows 8 expected before the end of the year, it is possible that we will see these in time for the holidays.
