Verizon Wireless announced two new DROID devices at CES 2012. Both are based on the DROID RAZR which Verizon unveiled this past October. The DROID 4 is the latest iteration of the DROID QWERTY slider smartphone with LTE and updated specifications. The DROID RAZR MAXX is essentially a thicker DROID RAZR and offers a battery that promises to “let customers talk on the phone for more than 21 hours straight on a single charge.”

The Verizon DROID 4 and DROID RAZR MAXX will be available “in the coming weeks.” Pricing for the DROID RAZR MAXX will start at US$299.99 with a two-year contract. Pricing for the DROID 4 is not available yet.
