Samsung yesterday announced that its Samsung Galaxy Note, its hybrid smartphone-tablet device, is headed to both AT&T in the U.S. and TELUS Mobility in Canada.
The U.S. version of the Galaxy Note will be available “in the coming weeks” in cobalt blue and white. “We welcome the Galaxy Note to the U.S. and are pleased to expand on our popular Galaxy family of premium products,” said Dale Sohn, president of Samsung Mobile. “The innovation in this product including the capabilities of the S Pen continue to show Samsung’s leadership in bringing cutting edge design and features to our customers.” Pricing information is not yet available.
TELUS confirmed to MobileSyrup that it will also offer it as an LTE device. According to the email received, “TELUS will soon be adding to their Galaxy family with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note, which Samsung debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show today.” Best of all, TELUS customers will be “future-proofed for the LTE network when that is launched later this quarter.”
There are no details yet but the Galaxy Note could also be headed to other Canadian carriers.
