Bell today announced that it has extended its HSPA+ network to Manitoba. The first phase of its deployment brings coverage offering speeds up to 42Mbps (average download speeds between 7 and 14Mbps) to approximately 70% of Manitobans.

The map above shows both Bell’s current coverage (in blue) as well as future coverage that will de deployed later this year to extend the network from Portage La Prairie to Brandon.
Coinciding with its HSPA+ launch, Bell announced the launch of 4 new Bell stores (Portage Place, Kildonan Place, Polo Park and St. Vital in Winnipeg).
