If you own an Apple TV, you will be able to watch a live stream of the event the company is holding today. A new application called “Apple Events” has been added. Clicking on it gives users a message asking them “tune in at 10 a.m. PT on October 23 to watch this event live.”
Apple is widely expected to announce the iPad mini tablet at today’s event. It could also announce a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and a refresh to its Mac Mini.
We will have all the details of today’s event later today so stay tuned.
Update: Better news: Apple will stream the event to iOS and Mac devices (Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later required). Non-Apple devices appear to be out of luck though.
