Apple today unveiled its latest smartphone, the Apple iPhone 5, billing it as “the world’s thinnest smartphone” during the announcement. Unfortunately, the claim is not quite accurate as a number of other devices have been slimmer.
Among the smartphones that are thinner than the iPhone 5 are the Huawei Ascend P1 S (6.8 millimeters) and the Motorola RAZR (7.1 millimeters) among others.
It’s unlikely that Apple’s mistake was unintentional. They should have just left it at “the thinnest phone we’ve ever made.”
