Along with the new iPad mini, Apple unveiled its fourth generation iPad. It features a number of upgrades over its predecessor, including a faster A6X processor which promises “up to twice the CPU performance and up to twice the graphics performance of the A5X chip.” Other improvements include LTE connectivity, a FaceTime HD camera, improved wireless connectivity, and a new Lightning Dock.
Like the iPad mini, the new fourth-generation iPad will be available on November 2nd. It will sell for CA/US$499 for the 16GB model, CA/US$599 for the 32GB model and CA/US$699 for the 64GB model. Wi-Fi + Cellular models are CA/US$130 more.
