Many have been hoping that HTC will launch an international version of the 5-inch 1080p smartphone which has so far been launched in Japan as the HTC J Butterfly [product information] and in the U.S. through Verizon as the DROID DNA [product information]. We’ve already seen one alleged image of this variant as it might be known and now official images appear to have leaked as well. It will reportedly launch as the HTC Deluxe DLX, and, based on the images below, will come in white, brown, and black.
While there are no specification details to go with the pictures, the HTC Deluxe DLX is widely expected to be similar to its siblings, the HTC J Butterfly and DROID DNA. It is expected to come with a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro, a 5-inch 1080p HD Super LCD3 display, and 2GB of RAM.
While there is no word on availability and pricing, GSMArena‘s source indicates that some kind of announcement could be made on December 6th.
