When the Samsung GT-i9260 first popped up in the rumour mill, it was thought that it would launch as the Galaxy Premier. More recent rumours suggested instead that it would be Samsung’s next Nexus smartphone. After all, the model number was not very far from the Samsung Galaxy Nexus’ own GT-i9250 number. If German site Mobile Geeks is to be believed, the original rumours were the correct ones and it will launch as the Samsung Galaxy Premier.

The Samsung Galaxy Premier is expected to go on sale in the fourth quarter for about €480 (about CA$607). There is no word on where and for how much it will launch.
